Senior Manager/Supervisor
Location: Mostly Remote (1 day a month in Springfield VA)

Travel: There is no travel expected. The position is considered to be on site in Springfield,

VA but will generally be remote. Rill go to Department of State’s Springfield, VA location every few weeks. Cutovers may occur on weekends or evenings and the resource will be expected to be on site and/or leading the calls. 

Job Description:
The Program Manager will provide an onsite project management in support of site level integration of

Department of State’s zero trust network Transport Only Network (TRoN) and existing voice and WIFI platforms.
  
Experience Requirements:
  • Five years of intensive and progressive experience in the last ten calendar years in the individual’s field of study and specialization. 
  • Background in managing projects integrating Session Border Controller, Cisco’s CUCM Telephony Product line – BE6K-7K series servers, and Avaya Voice Product Line. 
  • Two years of experience working on voice systems deployment teams as a PM. 
  • Three years of operations experience. 
  • Two years of experience in managing and deploying voice solutions in a VOIP and cloud-based environment.
  • Experience on Cisco Call Manager versions 10 and above and Avaya Voice Product line. 
  • Must be an excellent communicator, client facing experience and strong in the Microsoft Office Suite.       
Responsibilities:
  • Familiarity with Information Technology and Network terminology and projects specifically Cisco and Avaya and/or familiarity with other SaaS/UCaaS solutions.
  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Leading biweekly transition meetings with overseas missions
  • Leading a variety of weekly meetings with stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables
  • Communicate proactively the status, issues, and risks involved in the project to all stakeholders
  • Making exective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project and/or escalate appropriately
  • Communicating with leadership ensuring projects are aligned with their goals
  • Coordinating with system architects to ensure quality control throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Adjusting and communicating schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change
Educational Requirements:
BS degree or 5 years of experience managing, integrating and delivering projects in an enterprise environment.


Desired:    
Familiarity with CCT Routing & Switching, CCNA Collaboration, CCNP

Collaboration, Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering. PMP a plus. 

Required Clearance: 
TS desired, will consider Secret with that ability to achieve TS.
